The bid per post is calculated based on various factors, including:
- The budget set for the campaign. There are brands that define a high base cost, and others that don't. Advertisers have total freedom to define it.
- Your reach. In other words, the number of friends or followers your account has.
- Your audience interaction level; how many likes, shares, comments and views generated by your post.
- Your account quality. There are many factors evaluated here, like whether your generate your own content, whether you post regularly, that your posts are not spam, the type of language you use, among others.
As a marketplace, each brand is free to decide what base bid they will set for each campaign, based on their budget and its difficulty level.
You decide which campaigns you wish to participate in and if the bid seems fair to you. If you don't believe it to be fair, you can reject the invitation with the reason 'insufficient payment'.
Remember that we look for organic participation, so we recommend that you only participate in campaigns with brands that you and your audience identify with. If your audience sees that you have promoted a brand that they do not identify you with, they will ignore your post, which in turn will lower your influence level and your next bid will be lower.
