The term "marketplace" is relatively new, and is defined as a site where buyers and sellers carry out commercial transactions. Let's explain it a little clearer:
You have probably interacted with other marketplaces such as online shopping sites like eBay. On these sites, suppliers/sellers register and offer their products, and you, as a user, can buy them. The site is not who is selling/buying the products, it is who connects the sellers with buyers and makes sure that your transactions and money are safe.
The platform works in a similar way; however, instead of selling products there, you can access campaigns created by different brands. The platform makes sure that your payments are made in a securely, in an even shorter period of time than that offered by brands in the market, and most importantly, it connects you with different brands with just a click of your mouse.
Just like any other marketplace, users are free to accept or reject bids. Therefore, if a brand makes you a bid and you are not convinced, you can reject it. Likewise, the brand can accept or reject your proposal.
